How to Get Help
The food bank provides food to hungry people in Hays County struggling to make ends meet.
Public distributions of food are held Monday through Friday at various locations in San Marcos, Kyle, Buda, Wimberley and outlying areas of Hays County. Click here to see a distribution schedule that shows times, locations and maps.
Who is eligible to get food?
All residents of Hays County in need of help.
How many times can I come?
Each household can receive food a maximum of two times per week.
What do I need to bring?
The first time you come, you must bring two documents:
- A photo ID to verify your identity and
- A bill or document that shows your physical address.
After you are placed on our verified list, you will be asked to update your information in January each year during our Annual Verification process.
